1- Le Chateau d'Angers
An emblematic monument of the city, the Château d'Angers is the site not to be missed during your visit to the capital of Maine-et-Loire. It is a royal fortress, dating from the XIIIᵉ century, built on a schist promontory and overlooking the Maine River.
